UP accident disrupts Vasco train timings

The derailment of the Vasco-Patna Express in UP in the wee hours of Friday has not only disrupted the movement of trains along the Allahabad-Patna route, but has also indirectly affected the schedules of two direct trains leaving and arriving at Vasco.

According to information by P C Chacko, station manager at Vasco, Patna-Vasco Express (Train 12742) scheduled to leave Patna at around 2 pm on Saturday and arrive at Vasco at around 9 am on Monday has been cancelled due to Manikpur train mishap.
Similarly, the Vasco-Yesvantpur Express (Train 17310) scheduled to leave Vasco railway station at around 8.45 pm on Monday has also been cancelled due to non-availability of rake, on account of the
train accident.
