Zac Efron is in talks to join the cast of The Greatest Showman on Earth alongside Hugh Jackman. The movie tells the true-life story of celebrated circus owner and entertainment impresario P.T. Barnum, who was responsible for a number of hoaxes. Hugh will play Barnum - who created the three-ring Barnum & Bailey circus - in the film which is set for a December 2017 release. The musical will be a return to his roots for Zac, who first found fame in Disney's High School Musical.
