PANAJI: Dale Maxie de Lopes Menezes has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of Germany in Goa by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai.
In his new role, Menezes will assist German citizens in Goa, provide select consular support, and act as a link between German interests and local authorities. He will also promote cultural, economic, and educational cooperation, facilitating business exchanges, tourism, and cultural events between Germany and the state.
Consul General of Germany in Mumbai, Christoph Haller, said the consul looked forward to benefiting from Dale Menezes’s distinguished background and local insight. "We are confident that his leadership will further deepen the friendship and cooperation between Germany and the people of Goa,” Haller added.
Expressing his gratitude, Menezes said, “I look forward to strengthening the cultural and economic ties that connect Germany and our state, and to contributing to the continued growth of this partnership.”
