OLD GOA
Former Azossim-Mandur sarpanch Ajit Bacal targeted MLA Viresh Borkar over issue of EHN (temporary house number) to a Delhi-based party in the village of Mandur.
"The Mandur panchayat was supported by RGP when the EHN was given to the Delhi party," Bacal informed and sought to know why the MLA never spoke on the issue.
"Borkar and his party always speak against outsiders. So, they should now clarify on this issue as well," Bacal demanded.
"Just by saying that they have withdrawn support to Azossim-Mandur panchayat does not absolve the RGP MLA over the issue," he added.
Further, Bacal questioned why the deputy sarpanch of Azossim-Mandur continues to occupy the post if the RGP has withdrawn its support.
"They are just trying to wash their hands off the issue. If MLA Borkar is really serious, then he should protest in front of Mandur panchayat and get the EHN revoked," Bacal challenged.
