PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has sought Union Health Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda’s support to fast-track Goa’s proposal for 50 additional MBBS seats at Goa Medical College (GMC).
The proposal, already submitted to the National Medical Commission (NMC), aims to raise the intake from 200 to 250 seats, Sawant said in a post on X.
During his meeting with Nadda in New Delhi, Sawant also expressed gratitude for the passage of the Goa Scheduled Tribes Political Reservation Bill in Parliament.
