The Margao police sub-division has initiated a drive in the police station areas in its jurisdiction to find out the number of spas operating in the police station areas.
In fact, instructions have been issued to the in-charges of the police stations to verify whether the spas are operating with permissions from the concerned authorities.
In the event, the police come across illegal spas running in the police station jurisdiction, the in-charges have been told to initiate action.
The drive has been initiated in view of complaints of illegal mushrooming of spas in the police station jurisdiction.
