The Department of Town and Country Planning (TCP) has reconstituted a committee for the grant of additional height and FAR on a case-to-case basis.

The committee, constituted under Chief Town Planner (Planning) Vertika Dagur, has four members — Paresh Gaitonde, Rajeev Sukhthankar, Gayle Veronica Araujo, and Anand Deshpande, with Vinod Kumar Chandra as member secretary.

Under the Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations, 2010, the Government, on recommendation of the TCP Board, grants additional height and F.A.R. to proposals on a case-to-case basis in consideration of the locational aspect, nature of development, etc.

The committee has to undertake scrutiny and examine the proposals before placing them before the TCP Board for decision.

“The Government has decided that the Committee be reconstituted for the purpose of carrying out scrutiny, verification and examination of the proposals received in light of said regulations prior to placing the same before the TCP Board and to submit its report/recommendations in respect of such proposals,” the notification stated.
