It looks like govt has just woken up after Birch fire

The State government is currently seen conducting (despite of knowing that 90 per cent of hotels and establishments linked to tourism are illegal) a so-called 'crackdown' on a few selective business establishments/structures and fooling Goans by pretending to finally taking strong action against those establishments which are found not holding the required licences/documents & promoting all types of illegalities along the coastal belt areas. Looks like the government was sleeping all this while and has suddenly woken up only after the death of 25 people at an Arpora club. The government's sudden display comes not from commitment to rule of law, but from the compulsion of public anger after the above deadly disaster at Arpora. Well, the whole world knows that today almost all the major hotels, business establishments linked to tourism are allegedly involved in paying huge monthly 'haftas' or bribes to the local politicians. With the annual Christmas and New Year season just round the corner, it's money making time for almost everyone and due to which the music decibels level will become louder & the show will go on with more disturbing noise.
