It was very disturbing to see disruption of Christmas festivities all across the country. In Goa also we have seen desecration of crosses and communal tensions. This is not according to the teachings of any religion. All religions teach peace, non-violence and love and respect for your neighbour and their religious beliefs. Anyone who does violence on their neighbour in the name of God and does not respect their religious beliefs insults God because God dwells in every human being and we cannot love God if we do not love and respect our neighbour and their religious beliefs. Be assured that God will not take insults lightly. There is something called as karma or divine justice whether you believe it or not which all religions teach. As we begin another new year. I beg you don’t invite God's anger upon your family by insulting God. Let us work and pray for peace and communal harmony in our country then only God will bless us for without his blessings we are nothing but dust and ashes.
