A few of the LEDs in the high-mast light installed at Benaulim beach are frequently non-functional, and the electricity department too seems to be unaware of it. Often, repairs are carried out, but the shutter housing the lowering gear/MCBs is left open. There is a clear and present danger of electrocution to passers-by and other beach users. Can this dangerous anomaly be set right before a fatality occurs?
