The recent death of another 20-yr-old student Rishi Nair at BITS Pilani has been shocking. The student was found dead in his hostel room few days ago. This is the fifth case after three of them committed suicide in the campus. The students are going through peer academic pressure and neglect their health. The recent death is confirmed by forensic department of GMC  due to  anti-depression medication and is not suicide. The institute is one of the best educational institutions and is facing the reputation crisis due to students action The institute recently changed their academic exams system to ease the pressure on students answering the exam but some have not been able to cope up with it. The management and parents should come together and have serious discussion on academic pressure faced by their wards  and arrive at a solution. The recent incident has forced the state to appoint SIT to find the cause of such acts by students which will prevent such incidents in college. The students should be given counselling sessions on mental pressure and stress apart from academic counselling.
