It is truly sad that many remote villages still lack tarred roads or proper access, even in emergencies. This highlights the serious consequences of poor connectivity. While the government speaks of improving road networks, hardworking villagers continue to struggle throughout the year. Politicians and their agents often visit only during elections, making promises that are never fulfilled.
Panchayat offices must take responsibility, but progress is often held back by landowners’ reluctance to part with small portions of land, even in relatively developed villages.
I urge MLAs, citizens, landlords, village Panchayat offices, and government officials to work together and support these communities. After all, development means little when lives are lost due to neglect. Let us act responsibly and help those around us.
