The road near the Vishal Mega Mart junction, leading towards Dabolim airport, has turned into a nightmare for daily commuters. The stretch is riddled with potholes, most of them filled with rainwater, making it almost impossible to spot and avoid them in time.
Two-wheeler riders, in particular, are forced to dangerously balance through every uneven patch, often risking loss of control. The situation has worsened due to the ongoing flyover construction, where the contractor seems to have completely neglected the existing road used by hundreds of vehicles daily.
While the new flyover project may take years to complete, the pressing question remains – will citizens be left to struggle with these pothole-ridden roads until then? Immediate action is needed.
