Big corporations must be treated like common man

It has been reported that a casino corporation has been issued with tax demand notices by the directorate general of GST to the tune of Rs16,821 crore, for shortfall of tax paid. Apparently the company intends to dispute the tax notices, and intends to avail all legal remedies, knowing fully well that ,once the demands are legally challenged, it could be ages before the matters are finally disposed of to the satisfaction of either one of the parties involved. When a simple citizen disputes electricity or other services bill, he is advised to first pay the full amount, and then dispute the bill with the appropriate and competent authorities, failing which the services are withdrawn. If that is the way in which individual citizens are treated, why are these corporations with deep pockets are being treated with kid gloves?? Would it not be appropriate to direct the companies to first deposit the amount and then dispute the demands, at whatever forum they wish to? Failing which cannot the licence to operate the casinos be suspended, and the casinos sealed, until the matter is resolved, as is done to the common citizens?
