The condition of one particular road stretch of Saligao, starting from cross-road circle (Government Primary school) and heading right up towards the Seminary/Pilerne Industrial estate is currently in a most horrible state as the same was fully dug up last month using JCB machines in the name of laying some underground electricity cables and has still not been restored causing immense inconvenience to the commuters. Hey, for how many more times these Saligao roads will be dug up? And, don't the local villagers/those commuting via these Saligao roads pay their road taxes to the government? Well, the concerned authorities should stop testing the patience of the Saligao villagers/those working in Pilerne Industrial estate and instead should get all dug up village roads fully restored at the very earliest or else should get ready to witness some horrible mishaps/accidents due to their casual approach and negligence during the upcoming monsoon season. Shame on the local politician/panchayat panch members for successfully bullying the gullible poor villagers of this once beautiful 'kolleancho-gao' to enjoy their own 'ache-din' by wearing the fake mask of development and slowly turning Saligao into a dirty village hit by dust pollution.
