The political blame game has started in Goa. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar has called South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes a liar and challenged him to take an oath before Lord Damodar in Vasco. But Sankalp seems to have forgotten the promises he made to the people of Goa — that he would stop coal transportation and would not switch from Congress to BJP. He had made those promises in front of a Hindu temple, a mosque, and the holy cross at Bambolim.
For the sake of power and greed for money, you have betrayed your voters without any shame. And now, you speak loudly to win back public trust while ignoring your own past actions. People will not give a second chance to an MLA with a goonda image. You should be ashamed. Stop fighting among yourselves. Start working for the public, not for personal gains. You are elected representatives, servants of the people. And remember — the people who brought you to power also have the power to remove you.
