Is your life going as planned? Is everything going well? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's the same with me. I could share my story too. Maybe I have fewer problems than you, or maybe more. It feels like all the problems in the world come to me, while you only have your own.
Whenever I see you, or anyone else, I feel like crying—sometimes out of happiness, sometimes out of sadness.
The happiness comes from the light of God within you, or from the natural power inside you. When you pray or meditate, you gain a lot of wisdom. You feel joy and want to share it with others. But then you realise it's difficult, because these things are not easy to explain. They are deep, sometimes abstract, and hard to put into human language. I believe this is the struggle faced by many spiritual practitioners and even the prophets of the past.
That’s why we have so many religions, so many groups, so many scriptures. And yet, people often do not trust other faiths. Some even go as far as attacking or trying to harm people from other religions. This leads to conflict and even religious wars.
When we are comfortable in life, it’s hard to think about spiritual growth. We don’t feel the need. As the Buddha said, "When one is in heaven, it’s hard to practise, to meditate, to become a Buddha." In other words, when life is going very well, we often don’t feel the urge to grow or explore new things. This happens in our daily lives too. When we are too happy or settled, we avoid change or taking risks.
