Villages must unite to fight mega projects

Democracy starts are grassroots and what local residents want.  So if the villagers want sustainable development to ensure the carrying capacity is kept in check, and the village does does not suffer from rampant real estate development; particularly mega housing projects and units with water guzzling residential/commercial unit, how then can the “insensitive” TCP dept be allowed to simply override all these genuine concerns and blindly issue TCP approvals ( even many times in clear violation of local laws).  I think concerned villages must unite (as many as possible) and form a joint forum to legally fight all these destructive permissions blindly given  by the TCP dept ) even legal means; including the use of  the clear understanding of carrying capacity of the village and mitigation of all the ills,  by the otherwise rampant issuing of licences for multi-units housing projects and even mega commercial setups.  Unitedly I think the more villages join the effort, better chances of the destructive TCP dept being brought to check and issue licences only after taking into account the genuine concerns of the villagers.
