As the suspension of the five Congress leaders have finally become public, a question has started doing the rounds within the Congress party and outside – why only five, when there were others who were present at the Congress house along with the five suspended leaders during the uproar? Well, sources informed that party Chief Amitbab Patkar seemed to have taken a calculated decision in placing the five leaders under suspension. If sources are to be believed, it was initially decided to issue show cause notices on the others, who were part of the group at the Congress house. It’s not known whether the party leadership later developed cold feet or has withheld further decisions as part of a strategy.
