It was a week when BJP president Sadanandbab Tanavade sought to set at rest speculations over a group of Congress MLAs embracing the saffron brigade. His comments came days after TCP Minister Vishwajitbab Rane publicly opposed the entry of Congress MLAs into the party. As the confusion refused to die down, Goemkars, however, seemed to have not forgotten the political upheaval witnessed in the State three years ago on July 9, 2019, after a 10-member group of Congress MLAs switched sides when the Assembly was in Session.
