Even as the mystery continues over the delay in rewarding the promised cabinet berths to the Congress-turned-BJP MLAs, speculations were rife during the weekend whether only one of the three MLAs would find a spot in phase-I of the reshuffle. Speculations did the rounds that the BJP leadership is in favour of inducting a lone MLA into the cabinet, promising to accommodate the remaining two in due course of time. The three MLAs, however, are believed to have made a common cause, insisting the trio is inducted together in the cabinet. Any takers?
Sachin spotted on Benaulim beach learning about traditional fishing
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently in the State, was spotted on the Benaulim beach belt on Friday with his wife in tow. Unlike many a visitor to the beach, the cricketing legend did not opt for a boat ride. Instead, he was keen on understanding how the local fishermen use the traditional fishing gear 'rampon' to net fish.
