Guess the Congress leader who will personally monitor the party work in Margao, the constituency represented by Congress-turned-BJP MLA, Diggu? Well, none other than GPCC Chief Amitbab Patkar is believed to have volunteered to take charge of the Margao block in the political scheme of things. Since Diggu’s exit over 10 months ago on September 14, the Congress has been struggling to even constitute the Margao block and appoint a president. Wait and watch how the GPCC Chief would go about rebuilding the Margao block ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
