MARGAO: Cricket Club of Altinho defeated La Paz Garden by four wickets in the knock out stage of 3rd Late Chandrakant Karapurkar Cricket Tournament, at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium, MCC, Margao.
Winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Altinho bundled out La Paz at 79 all out in 16.2 overs due to devastating spell of Amit Yadav (5-26) and Aman Dhooper (3-15). Suraj Dongre (16) and Anuj Yadav (16) were the only performers for La Paz.
In reply, Altinho had to find a hard way out to score 82 for 6 in 19.2 overs. Shubham Naik(33) was the top scorer with Vinayak Kunte (12) batting well. C. Venkata (2-26) and Sumiran Amonkar (2-13) bowled well.
