Shiroda Youth Club will face Cuncolim Union in the opening match of the All Goa 8-a-side Inter-Village Football Tournament, held in memory of Anil Kamat, former Assistant Secretary of the All India Football Federation. The tournament, organised by Enfermos Sports Club, kicks off at 4:30 PM on June 16, at the Chinchinim Ground.
Other teams competing for top honours include Goa Velha Sports Club, Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club, Dramapur Sports Club, Parish Youth Nuvem, St Anthony Sports Club Colva, Guirdolim Sports Club, Dicarpale Sports Club, Ambelim Sports Club, CAC Sports and Social Club, Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club Paroda, Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda SCC, Loutolim, Betalbatim Sporting Club, and Navelim Sporting Club.
The tournament final is scheduled for July 6.
