Antruz Rising Stars beat Canacona Warriors by 5 wickets with 9 balls to spare in the Sarsangan Men's T20 League at GCA Mashem Ground.
Electing to bat first, Canacona Warriors made 172/8 thanks to Viraj Puranik's 40 not out, Amey Rajadhyax's 29, Kauntey Shenvi's 26, Adil Prabhu's 24 and Sukrut Pai's 23. For Antruz Rising Stars, the successful bowlers were Vivek Keny (2-19), Aghan Bhandare (2-29), Saaiel Kossambe (1-31) and Vishlesh Shenvi (1-38).
The target of 173 was achieved by Antruz Rising Stars in 18.3 overs, losing five wickets and with nine balls to spare thanks to Gaurish Shenvi Lotliker's 38 not out, Saeesh Prabhudessai's 29, Aghan Sambari's 28 not out, Eeshan Kamat's 26 and Vivek Keny's 19 not out. For Canacona Warriors, the successful bowlers were captain Amey Rajadhyax (2-18), Sukrut Pai (1-23) and Guru Bale (1-24).
