Anushri Naik and Ishita Colaso will battle for the Girls Under 19 crown, while Urvi Surlakar and Neeza Kamat will clash in the Women’s Singles final at the Ulhas Jewellers BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, being held at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda.
In the U19 Girls semifinals, Anushri defeated Urvi Surlakar 3-1 and Ishita eased past Neeza Kamat 3-0. Earlier in the quarters, Anushri beat Ira Nadkarni 3-1, Ishita blanked Aarna Lotlikar 3-0, Urvi overcame Aayushi Amonkar 3-0, and Neeza got past Sanisha Sinha 3-1.
In the Women’s Singles semifinals, Urvi Surlakar outplayed Ishita Colaso 3-1, while Neeza Kamat edged out Pradnya Caro in a tense 3-2 thriller.
Quarterfinal action saw Ishita survive a scare against Samaira Verlekar to win 3-2, Urvi defeat Anushri 3-0, Pradnya dispatch Sachi Dessai 3-0, and Neeza dominate Sanisha 3-0. Organised by BPS Sports Club in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association, the tournament is witnessing intense rivalries and top-tier talent as it builds up to an exciting finale.
