Don Bosco College of Engineering defeated Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim 14-4 in final.

Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, Margao clinched the Women’s Inter-Collegiate Handball Championship 2025-26 organised by Goa University at the Goa University ground, Taleigao, held on March 2 and 4.
In the final, Don Bosco College of Engineering defeated Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim 14-4 to lift the title.
Earlier in the semifinals, Don Bosco Engineering outplayed Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar 10-1, while Rosary College of Commerce and Arts edged past Don Bosco College, Panaji 3-2.
Miffy Rebelo of Don Bosco College of Engineering was adjudged the Best Player of the women’s championship. A total of 19 teams participated in the two-day inter-collegiate tournament.
Dr Anthony Veigas, Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare at Goa University, was the chief guest at the presentation ceremony and distributed medals and trophies along with Balachandra Jadar, Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University.
The Don Bosco Engineering team comprised Mansi Jaiswar, Miffy Doyel Rebelo, Gargi Mohite, Fay Antao, Danely Pearl Gomes, Vedika Raju Balnaik, Suzane Andra, Sneha Gounder, Sabiha Muchagod, Sania Trisha Cardozo, Raynel Dias, Meha Dangui, Ajury Silva, Ilyssa Afonso, Anusha Shinde and Suzette Rodrigues.
