Ebad Ali of AYN continued his strong back to take all the three guns of All India Board Sailing Championship on Friday.
The battle between Ali and Dayne Coelho of GYA was again the highlight on Day 2 of the competition with the Goan finishing second in the races, including a photo finish in Race No. 6 as the duo changed leads at least three times in the RS:X Men's category. Dayne had taken the gun in three of the four races on the opening day.
In the RS:X Women’s category, Aishwarya Ganesh of TNSA continued her top form, taking all 3 guns ahead of Manaswani Maharana of OYA. In the IQ Foil women’s category, Katya Coelho of GYA was flying and took all 3 guns. In the open Foil Men’s category, Saurabh Kumar of AYN maintained his top spot with Tenka Madhu of AYN in second place and Imtizulu of INWTC, Goa in third place.
In the RS:One women’s category, Pearl Colvalcar of GYA is in top spot. The Raceboard men’s category the surprise package D Shekhar Rao of OYA has convinced everybody with his superior skill and determination and is clearly ahead of LT Maneesh Raja and Akhilesh Solanki of AYN in second and third place respectively. In the Raceboard Youth Boys division, the positions remained unchanged as Avelino Fernandes of GYA leads Adarsh Chunekar of GYA while Kayah Coelho leads in the Youth Girls. In the Raceboard Masters category, Cmde. Ashish Saxena (Rtd) maintained his top spot ahead of Brig. PC Roy and Mark Oakley.
