Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi and Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science, Margao emerged victorious in their respective matches on the 10th day of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2025-26.
In the first match of the day, Goa College of Engineering defeated V.M. Salgaocar College of Law by 8 wickets. After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Goa College of Engineering bowled out VMS Law College for 95 runs in 18.4 overs. Mehank Dharwadkar top-scored with 31 off 28 balls, while Deepraj Naik contributed 17 off 23. Narayan Sawant led the bowling attack with an impressive spell of 3 for 16, while Rajat Dalal supported well with 3 for 10.
In reply, Goa College of Engineering chased down the target comfortably, scoring 96 for 2 in just 10 overs. Smit Dalvi scored 25 off 28 balls, while Atchut Nai Dalal added 23 off 16 balls. Narayan Sawant of Goa College of Engineering was adjudged the best performer of the match for his outstanding bowling performance.
In the second match, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science, Margao defeated Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar by 6 wickets. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Fr. Agnel College posted 104 all out in 18.4 overs. Vishnu Meena scored 24 off 19 balls, while Rudra Gaonkar contributed 19 off 22. For Chowgule College, Anas Baig delivered a brilliant spell claiming 4 wickets for 15 runs, while Amit Kevat took 3 for 17 and Abdul Jakati picked up 2 for 17.
Chasing 105 for victory, P. Chowgule College reached the target with 105 for 4 in 15.1 overs. Sourav Shukla anchored the chase with a solid 42 off 48 balls, while Sanat Raikar added a quick 13 off 6 balls. Pratham Gaude was the pick of the bowlers for Fr. Agnel College with figures of 2 for 27.
Anas Baig of P. Chowgule College was named the best bowler of the match, while Sourav Shukla received the award for best batter.
