The All India Football Federation has officially announced the fixtures for the I-League 2 2025–26 season, with Goa’s Sporting Clube de Goa set to represent the State in India’s third tier of men’s professional football.
The competition is scheduled to kick off on March 27 and will run through to mid-May, featuring nine clubs competing in a single round-robin, home-and-away format. Each team will face every opponent once, with a balanced split of matches at home and on the road.
Sporting Clube de Goa will be among a competitive field that includes clubs with experience across different tiers of Indian football, setting the stage for a closely contested campaign. With promotion to the Indian Football League 2026-27 at stake for the top two finishers, the ninth-placed club, along with Sports Academy Tirur (who have withdrawn from I-League 2 2025-26 prior to the commencement of the league), will be relegated to I-League 3 2026-27.
The upcoming campaign marks another important step for Goan football on the national stage, with Sporting carrying forward the State’s presence in the I-League system.
