Bambino Dias and Amresh Parab emerged as top performers in the inter-media badminton and table tennis tournament organised by the Sports Journalists Association of Goa (SJAG) at Indoor Stadium in Campal.
The two-day event was organised in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, Goa Badminton Association, Panjim Badminton Club and Panjim Table Tennis Club. The tournament saw the participation of media personnel from different media houses across Goa, showcasing their skills in badminton and table tennis.
Bambino was the outstanding athlete of the tournament, securing three gold medals and one silver medal. Amresh also shone in the tournament, winning one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. Sachin Chatte won one Gold and one silver, Savio Noronha won one gold and one bronze while Trisha Naik won one gold.
Narahar Thakur (President, GBA), Sandeep Heble (Secretary, GBA), Mahesh Gaonkar (President, SJAG), Dhiraj Mahambre (Secretary, SJAG) graced the occasion among others.
