Swimmer Club Belgaum and Aquarius Club Belgaum hosted the Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship 2025 at the Suvarna JNMC Swimming Pool in Belgaum, bringing together talented swimmers from Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
Swimmers from the Khelo India State Center of Excellence Goa delivered impressive performances, earning a total of 19 medals across various age groups.
Aryan Sharma bagged a gold in the 50m freestyle and a bronze in the 100m freestyle in the 15-34 boys group. Niranjani Borde dominated the girls’ 15-34 group with three gold medals in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, and 200m Individual Medley, along with a bronze in the 100m backstroke.
Aarohi Borde (13-14 girls) clinched five medals, including a gold in the 100m butterfly, and silver in the 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, and 200m Individual Medley, while also taking a bronze in the 100m freestyle.
In the 11-12 boys group, Advait Dalvi shone with three gold medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle, and 100m backstroke, along with a silver in the 200m Individual Medley and a bronze in the 50m backstroke. Shlok Gad earned bronze in both the 50m and 100m freestyle events.
The 11-12 girls group saw Purvi Ritesh Naik excel, winning gold in the 50m freestyle and five silver medals in the 100m freestyle, 50m and 100m butterfly, and 200m Individual Medley. Tanmay Chougule from the 9-10 boys group earned a silver in the 100m freestyle and a bronze in the 50m freestyle.
All these swimmers are trained under the expert guidance of head coach Sujith T. A. at the Khelo India State Center of Excellence Goa, continuing to show remarkable growth in their swimming skills.
