Nathan Vales for the second time in a row claimed the men's singles title and Shirley Mergulhao clinched the ladies' singles crown at the Inter-Seraulim badminton tournament organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim at Church court. In the men's singles, Vales got the better of Kevin D'Souza 21-18, 21-17 while Mergulhao defeated Marolif Fernandes 21-12, 21-14 in the ladies' singles.

The matches were officiated by Franklin Fernandes and Austin Fernandes. Fr Benjamin Sacramafilla, Parish Priest, was the chief guest and Poli D'Cruz, president of the club, was the guest of honour and gave away the prizes along with other special invitees, Virginia Fernandes, Savio Vales, Amenia Da Costa, Marolif Fernandes, Genevieve Vaz and Pio Vales.
