Tanushree scored three goals to ensure Sai Blue beat Sea View 4-0 in the Women Seniors semi finals of the Joe Fernandis Hockey Tournament being played at St Peter's High School Astroturf Ground in Bandra. The other semi-finals between Warriors and India Rush will be played on Thursday.
In the women's Elite category league matches, Sai White drew with Republicans 2-2. In the second match, Central Railway beat Western Railway 3-1. Playing for Central Railway, Vandana Katariya, the most capped Indian women's hockey player, scored two brilliant goals. She represented India in 320 matches, scoring 158 goals, before retiring in April this year.
