PANAJI: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) has announced selection trials to form the Goa State teams for the upcoming 69th National School Games Championship 2025. Trials will be held in Cycling (Under-14, 17 & 19 Boys/Girls) and Shooting (Under-14 & 19 Boys/Girls).
The trials are scheduled for December 18, 2025, and participants are required to report between 10 am and 11 am at the DSYA Office, Campal, Panaji.
Selected athletes will represent Goa at the National School Games: Cycling: Jharkhand, January 13–17, 2026; Shooting: Madhya Pradesh, January 5–9, 2026
Eligibility: Students from 6th to 12th Standard can participate. Age cut-offs are: U-14: Born on or after 01-01-2012; U-17: Born on or after 01-01-2009; U19: Born on or after 01-01-2007.
Participants must carry Sports Cards or School ID Cards for registration. Selected players will also need to submit an Age Verification Test (AVT) certificate along with eligibility forms.
