Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports Goa Ajay Gaude visited the SAI Centre in Ponda recently, where he was warmly welcomed by Madhav Kamble, Deputy Director and In-Charge of SAI STC Ponda.
During his visit, Gaude toured the centre’s infrastructure and reviewed its overall operations. He also held a meeting with all officers and staff involved in the centre’s functioning, gaining insight into their ongoing efforts.
A highlight of the visit was his engaging interaction with the centre’s talented Judo trainees, which proved to be a great source of motivation for the young athletes.
Gaude emphasized the importance of the strong collaboration between the State Government and SAI, stating, “While the State Government provides essential infrastructure and playing fields, SAI delivers top-tier coaching and manages day-to-day operations. This partnership is paving the way for even greater sporting achievements in Goa.”
