Sateri Sports Club registered a narrow 2-1 win over Aivao United Football Club in the Goa Football Association Second Division League at Taleigao ground on Tuesday.
No goals were scored in the first half, as neither team attempted any forward moves. But in the second half of the game, Sateri Sports Club made the most of every opportunity. Sateri Sports Club took the lead in the 63rd minute when Karan Kunkalkor shot the ball directly into the net.
Sateri controlled the match and Satyam Konkonkar's goal in the 89th minute doubled the lead.
Chandra Mahta scored Aivao United FC's lone goal in the 90+2nd minute, but it wasn't enough to give them the victory.
