Host team Bhatti SC booked their place in the semifinals of the Silver Jubilee Cup 2025 Interward Football Tournament, organized by Sporting Club Virabhat, with a commanding 5-1 victory over Cumborda SC at the St. Alex Church Ground, Curtorim.
Cumborda had an early chance to take the lead, but Valzino Fernandes saw his effort strike the post and go out of play. Bhatti SC quickly capitalized, opening the scoring in the 10th minute through Tony Dias, who slotted in calmly to make it 1-0. Dias doubled the advantage in the 20th minute, giving Bhatti a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
In the second half, Bhatti continued their dominance. Ralf Dias added a third in the 35th minute, before Tony Dias completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute, extending the lead to 4-0. Cumborda managed to pull one back through Roy Fernandes in the 45th minute, but Bhatti sealed the game with a fifth goal in the 50th minute, once again from Ralf Dias.
Tony Dias was adjudged the Man of the Match for his stellar hat-trick performance. The award was presented by Baptisto Fernandes, member of Sporting Club Virabhat.
