Central Secretariat Delhi thrashed Karnataka Secretariat 12-0, RSB Indore beat Chandigarh Union Territory 6-2, and RSB Mumbai overcame Lakshadweep 3-0 on day 3 of the All India Civil Services Football Tournament, at the Bambolim Ground.
Rupesh Kaushal starred for Delhi with five goals, while Mahadip Adhikari added four. For Indore, Prasad Mondal scored four goals and Mukesh Thakur two, while Jeevan K netted both goals for Chandigarh. Mumbai’s scorers were Ashrafali Maqaddar, Sanket Salunke, and Sandesh Gadkari.
Meanwhile at Santa Cruz Football ground, RSB Bangalore edged Jharkhand 4-2, with D. Shamath, V. Jaikumar, and Santosh S scoring for Bangalore, and Sachin Tigga scoring both for Jharkhand.
RSB Patna recorded a 4-0 win over RSB Kanpur, thanks to a hat-trick from Nalo Hari and a strike from Gaurav Maurya. Haryana Secretariat routed RSB Shimla 6-0, while RSB Chennai defeated Uttar Pradesh 5-0, with Jebakumar netting a hat-trick.
The matches were overseen by Match Commissioners Prasad Surlakar and Francisco Fernandes, supported by referees Sachin Padloskar, Kashinath Kamat, Vardhan Ghadi, Keshav Kaskar, Pranav Amonkar, Pravin Naik, Yeshwant Gaonkar, and Dattaraj Kamat.
