Don Bosco Oratory (DBO) Fatorda beat CAC Cansaulim 2-1 to enter into the semifinal of the Lourdes Cup Intervillage Football Tournament organised by Ambelim Sports Club at Ambelim ground on Tuesday. Francis Andrade of Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda was at his best while Aaron Rodrigues of CAC Cansaulim gave his all for the team. The match started on a fiery note when in the 2nd minute, Roque Borges of Fatorda should have found the net but his power-packed shot hit the rival's crossbar and went out of play while on the other end, Elvino Fernandes' long ranger failed to pop up into the Fatorda net in the 10th minute. Elvino Fernandes of Cansaulim netted the first goal of the match in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Vincent Barbosa, Fatorda coach, gave an extra task to substitute Francis Andrade to manage both midfield and frontline which yielded results as Francis fired two quick goals in the 52nd and 72nd minutes respectively, scripting a 2-1 comeback for Don Bosco.
