The fourth day of the 8th All India Bhikoo Pai Angle Memorial U-15 Cricket Tournament witnessed competitive cricketing action despite a delayed start due to overnight rains that left the outfield damp. Matches were played with reduced overs across different venues.
Dwarka Cricket Academy (Nashik), Green Nest Cricket Academy (Coimbatore), Vinod Dhamaskar Cricket Academy (Margao), and M.G. Warriors (Kuwait) registered convincing wins on Thursday.
At SAG Agonda, M.G. Warriors (Kuwait) defeated Adambakkam Cricket Academy (Chennai) by 29 runs. Batting first, M.G. Warriors were bowled out for 97 in 19.5 overs, with Vivan Lobo top-scoring with 33. In reply, Adambakkam managed only 68/9 in 20 overs, as Yewon Eron (2-16) and Neev Cheriyan (1-9) bowled tightly. Vivan Lobo was adjudged Man of the Match.
At Dharbandora Ground, Vinod Dhamaskar Cricket Academy (Margao) put up a strong total of 171/6 in 35 overs, thanks to Sumedh Parab’s unbeaten 83. Their bowlers then bundled out Vasu Paranjape Cricket Academy (Mumbai) for 94, sealing a 77-run win. Abhishek Lamani, with figures of 3 for 15, earned the Man of the Match award.
At Chicalim Ground, Green Nest Cricket Academy (Coimbatore) defeated Akshaya Cricket Academy (Udupi) by 33 runs. Gnanavel’s 28 guided Green Nest to 90, before their bowlers—led by Mukund Kris (3-10)—dismissed Akshaya for 57. Gnanavel was named Man of the Match.
At DSYA Ground, Sanguem, Dwarka Cricket Academy (Nashik) outplayed Just Cricket (Bangalore) by 39 runs in a 15-over game. Dwarka posted 80/5, with Aliasgar Jafer remaining unbeaten on 39. Just Cricket could manage only 41/6 as Aryan Awachat (2-10) and Aksh Patel (2-3) bowled economically. Aman Katkade was declared Man of the Match.
