The Gymnastics Federation of India (GFI), in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Goa, and the Sports Authority of Goa, announced the 14th Acrobatic Gymnastics Asian Championships 2025.
The championship will be held from October 31 to November 2, starting at 10 am onwards, at the Peddem Indoor Stadium, Karaswada, Mapusa. This premier international sporting event will bring together the finest acrobatic gymnasts from across Asia.
This marks a historic milestone, as the Acrobatic Gymnastics Asian Championships will be hosted in India for the very first time.
The prestigious event will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, in the distinguished presence of Santosh Sukhadeve, IAS, Secretary (Sports), Government of Goa; Dr. Ajay R. Gaude, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs, Goa and Executive Director, Sports Authority of Goa; Aigul Dukenbayeva, AGU Technical President; Sudhir Mital, President, Gymnastics Federation of India; and Dr. C. Prabhakar, Vice President, Gymnastics Federation of India, along with top international officials, coaches, and athletes. The Gymnastics Federation of India would like to thank the Honorable Sports Minister of Goa Ramesh Tawadkar.
The championship aims to showcase the best of acrobatic gymnastics through three days of intense competition, world-class performances, and cultural exchange.
