Jawaharlal Da Costa Football: Kings School, St Anne’s Institute storm into U-14 girls final

The Kings School, Sao Jose De Areal and St. Anne’s Institute, Agonda booked their spots in the final of the Under-14 Girls category at the 5th All Goa Interschool Sir Jawaharlal Da Costa Football Tournament, organized by United Sports Club of Seraulim at the Seraulim Panchayat Ground.

Both semifinal fixtures ended in identical 4–0 victories.

The Kings School put on a dominant display to trounce Fatima Convent HS, Margao. Analee D’Costa was the star of the show, netting a clinical hat-trick, while Joida Rocha chipped in with a goal to round off a one-sided affair.

St Anne’s Institute, Agonda mirrored that performance in the other semifinal, sweeping aside Regina Martyrum HS, Assolna. Gwyneth Fernandes dazzled with a hat-trick of her own, and Anissa Fernandes added the fourth to seal a comprehensive win.

Boys U-12: Kings School advance to semis

In the Boys Under-12 category, The Kings School continued their strong run with a 3–0 win over Loyola HS ‘B’, Margao. Joshua D’Costa, Isaac Mendes, and Arnav Tikande found the net to secure a spot in the semifinals.

Boys U-14: Kings and Saviour of the World progress

The Kings School, Sao Jose De Areal also impressed in the Under-14 Boys category, registering a 3–1 victory over St Jude H.S, Betalbatim. Ambu Dalvi netted twice and Soham Mane added another, while Shiva Indwar managed a consolation goal for St Jude’s.

In a thrilling contest, Saviour of the World HS, Loutolim edged out Marina English HS, Verna 3–2. Rajesh Sarki struck twice and Shivam Kumar added a third for the winners. Clive Hama and Wonzel Fernandes scored for Marina in a spirited but unsuccessful fightback.
