In a tense encounter at the Sankhali Municipality ground, Maina Sports Club Curtorim clinched a hard-fought 1-0 win over PVC Parra Association on Sunday to advance to the quarter-finals of the Eagle Sports Club's 50th Golden Jubilee All Goa Football Tournament, also known as the Late Musa Ali Aga Memorable Football Tournament. The event is sponsored by Sukur Aga and Roshan Sukur Aga.
The solitary goal of the match came from the boot of Josslan Fernandes of Maina Sports Club, who capitalized on a precise pass from Jolisthan Rebello in the first half. Maina goalkeeper Prakash Joshi won the Man of the Match prize.
