The Margao RCC team at the All India Open Water Swimming Competition held at Sernabatim beach.

Swimmers from Margao RCC put up a commendable performance at the All India Open Water Swimming Competition held at Sernabatim beach recently.
The event was organised by the Open Water Amateur Aquatics Federation of India in association with the Goa Swimming Association.
In the U-14 category, Gargi Shirawaikar secured second place in the 1 km event and also participated in the 5 km race. Deep Naik Dessai finished fifth in the 1 km and fourth in the 2 km event.
Ronav Lotlikar (2 km) and Sanituis Rebelo (2 km) finished fifth and sixth, respectively, while Aaradhya Thakare secured seventh place in the 2 km and also competed in the 10 km open category.
Among other participants, Lancio Luke D’Costa (2 km), Aashi Pradeep Kumar (1 km), and Shripad Lotlikar (5 km, open category) also took part in their respective events. In the U-14 girls’ category, Aradhya Pradeep Borkar, Priyal Mishra and Kenisha D’Costa participated in the 1 km event.
