Goan Warriors Football Club trashed Football Club Tuem 9-1 in the Goa Football Association's Third Division football league match (Bardez zone) at the Duler Stadium, Mapusa, here on Friday. At half time Goan Warriors FC were leading 3-0.
In the 14th minute, Goan Warriors FC took the lead through Mahableshwar Harijan who was fed the ball by Aquib Mirza, 1-0. In the 38th minute Goan Warriors FC went 2-0 ahead through Aquib Mirza who scored a superb goal. In the 44th minute, Mabaleshwar Harijan scored his second goal for Goan Warriors FC with a well-placed left footer 3-0.
Post resumption, Football Club Tuem tried to make an impact but their forward line failed to convert. In the 59th minute Goan Warriors FC went 4-0 ahead through Tukaram Parab. In the 71st minute Mufaiaz Shaik made it 5-0 for his side. Three minutes later, Tukaram Parab made the score 6-0 and inflicted more misery on Tuem outfit.
In the 79th minute, Football Club Tuem managed to finally pull one back through Vignesh Palni 6-1. In 80th minute Aquib Mirza increased the lead for Goan Warriors FC and made it 7-1. M Harijan scored his hat-trick in the 86th minute and Tukaram Parab scored in 89th for Goan Warriors FC to complete his treble. It was raining goals in the Football Club Tuem goalpost.
