“It is not possible for the BJP-led government to give jobs to so many people in five years,” stated Chodankar while addressing a news conference, organised by the Congress at Valpoi on Sunday.
Congress leader Swati Kerkar, Valpoi Congress Block president Ashish Kanekar, secretary Sarfaraj Pathan and others were present.
Speaking further, Chodankar said during the panchayat elections, the health minister gave baseless assurances to the public. “He won’t be able to fulfill the promise of 8,500 government jobs and voters should not fall prey to such misleading assurances,” he added.
“After resigning from the Congress, Vishwajeet Rane mocked the party leaders by calling them ‘jokers.’ Now, the party has filed a disqualification petition against Rane,” stated Chodankar.
“The common man had hoped that the situation of Valpoi Community Health Centre would improve after Rane became the health minister; however, hopes of the people faded as the health minister did not make any effort to visit the Valpoi CHC and solve the problems faced by the people,” alleged Chodankar.
