PANAJI: The Council for Social Justice and Peace (CSJP) will organise a lecture 'Islam Katha' by renowned scholar on Islam, Rakesh Bhatt, at Caritas Holiday Home, St Inez, Panaji, on December 17 at 6 p.m.
With a vast experience of 22 years as a diplomat (Grade B) on West Asia Desks of Indian Missions in Syria, Iran and Iraq, Bhatt is an exponent of many languages, Persian, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi and English, and has contributed to talks and discussions on Islam in Finland, Brazil, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Kenya, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tunisia. The lecture is open to the public.
