Regina Mundi School, Chicalim — the reigning Goa State Champions — reaffirmed their dominance in the Mormugao Zone by clinching the Boys U-15 Subroto Mukherjee Inter-School Football title, defeating Deepvihar High School, Sada with a commanding 4-1 victory.
The tournaments is being organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs and held at the SAG Rose Circle ground.
Shane Colaco led the charge with a brace, while Mathias Rodrigues and Ethan Fernandes added a goal each to seal the win for Regina Mundi.
In the Boys U-17 category, St. Andrew's Higher Secondary School, Vadem edged past Deepvihar School, Sada 2-1 to emerge champions of the Mormugao Zone.
