The Goa Basketball Association (GBA) has announced the State Junior Open Selection Trials for the upcoming Junior National Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held from September 2 to 9, in Ludhiana, Punjab.
The open trials will be conducted on August 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim. All players born on or after January 1, 2007, are eligible to participate.
Following the recently concluded State Youth Championships, the GBA has already shortlisted a pool of probable players. However, all shortlisted players must attend the trials along with any new aspirants.
The shortlisted Boys are: Aaron Ponraj, Abhinav Singh, Aditya Naik, Anver M, Charles Pereira, Daniel Rodrigues, Daniel Saji, David Xavier, Dexter D'Souza, Jairam Agni, Jude Fernandes, Kayden D'Silva, Kevin De Souza, Roy De Souza, Ryan Prabhudesai, Sean Fernandes, Sumedh Gosavi, Yash Tanwar.
The shortlisted Girls are: Aadya Maladkar, Aanera Gracias, Ace Morais, Amie Menezes, Bianca Pereira, Enera Fernandes, Kim D'Souza, Keya Fernandes, Natalie Fernandes, Riana D'Costa, Sarah Albuquerque, Siddhi Kondle, Trisha D'Souza, Urvi Shirodkar, Winoska D'Silva. All players must report in proper playing kits and carry self-attested photocopies of their Aadhaar card and Birth Certificate.
